Planning to be away from your property for an extended period? Whether you’re a seasonal resident heading south for the winter, taking an extended vacation, or temporarily relocating for work, our temporary service stop program can help you manage your water account while you’re away.

Why Stop Your Service?

Temporarily stopping your water service during extended absences can provide peace of mind and potential cost savings. While you’re away, you won’t be billed for the variable portion of your water usage, though basic service fees may still apply to maintain your account and connection.

When to Contact Us

We recommend contacting us at least one week before your departure date to schedule a service stop.Similarly, when you’re ready to return, please give us advance notice so we can ensure your water service is restored and ready when you arrive home.

What You Need to Know

Service stops are available for absences of 30 days or more
A minimum account fee may apply to keep your account active
Your meter will be read before service is stopped and again when service resumes
You’ll need to provide your departure and return dates
Photo ID and account verification may be required
